Merimobiles support has been great. I would buy from them again. Right now, they're trying to contact mlais to ask about the 3g bands for this phone. Supposedly, we should hear from mlais in 2-4 days ...at least that's what merimobile support says. I'l update this thread once I hear something.

according to merimobiles tech support, mlais' response was "maybe you're in an area with very low 1900mhz signal."
I think this is the end of the line. I've started the RMA process with merimobiles to return this phone. Does anyone here have experience returning anything to merimobiles? If yes, I'd love to hear how it went for you.
