This is NOT the official rom vrom INEW. Undecided

This version is the one from Needrom but it is working.
GPS is fine and it is not rooted. No unnessesary software inside.

Here's a guide on how it's done! :-)

The signal for WiFi has improved by 60% to 80%!

The screws at the bottom are not torx. They are pentalobe type.
The difference is that the torx is a six corner star and the pentalode is a five corner star.
Apple uses those types of screws to its products like MacBooks, iPhones etc.
By the way how did you manage to remove them? With a flat screwdriver?

sorry with the wrong indication of the screws, I could have sworn on Torx! To solve I have a screwdriver used 1mm with a lot of pressure on the screw, you have enough it only firmly into the screw and rotate, maybe you should grind an old screwdriver slightly, to 0.8 mm! Blush

I changed the instructions for opening the unit as a precaution,
so no one here is buying the wrong tool!

No, there is no problem on every rom I have tried with exposed framework!
