[ROM] MT6572 ALPS 706-3G - No Bloatware/Malware + CWM Recovery

Hello Chinaphonearena users,

After many days fighting for a way to get ride off of the malware and viruses that pseudo-manufacturer "ALPS" injects into its tablets, I made it!

I created the first-time-in-history clean 4.2.2 firmware for all those 706-3G devices around the world. Sadly, Latin American countries still suffer from these manufacturers, specially in Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay and Bolivia, since their products are cheaper than other brands (and importation policies are extremely flexible). Also, there is a bunch of m****rf*ckers that "sell" this firmware through many fake blogs (still full of virus).

To give a summary of the steps I made to finally boot the definite version for this devices, I started from the classic "simg2img/raw/mount/detectandclean/repack/flash" and ended up reading back the tablet till recovery, made a custom recovery out of MTKDT, started ADB, and used chattr and rm -f commands to destroy the malware apks ([Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]a list of what I mostly found)

Here in the forum you will find the right tools to make the whole flash process, so I'm only uploading the firmware.

Instructions:

0) Unzip it. Go and flash that thing.

Working

1. Wi-Fi
2. Bluetooth
3. Wi-Fi Hotspot
4. Both SIM modules (with 3G H+)
5. Any app
6. CWM works awesome.

If you want to use camera, you will have to download an app or a compatible module.


Apps:

1) File Manager
2) SuperSU (binaries won't update, you might want to try SuperUser)
3) Macafee Antivirus
4) Gmail
5) Exchange
6) Default apps + google play store

Need to be resolved:

When Android starts, the following exploits will be created in /system/xbin:
1- .qqasshole
2- .b
3- .ls (which is not the adb command "ls")
4- .360asshole
5- .dalpha
6- .ld.js

These exploits will run a lot of code so they can manage to take control of root and download/install apps (mostly porn apps), they evade certificates, they evade everything. They are "frozen" in my firmware, but I'm not sure which conditions are required for them to return. And no, you can't use chattr or rm -f on them, actually, if you open an ADB terminal and you lsattr, you won't see any of these files, they are hidden.

Also, from time to time, the tablet ask for "SD Card format", I don't know the reason of this, maybe the exploits?



Important: I have never used an SD card, it may solve the problem (who knows?)

Note about device specs:

You should be aware that this firmware is only intended to MTK 6572 706-3G tablets (like the MTK Samsung Tab 3, WIN 706 tablets, "xyz brand" 706-3G tablets). The board of these devices doesn't come with a printed code or name, instead, they come with a sticker (which, in most cases, comes scratched, damaged and unreadable). The following photos will serve to identify the device and for comparison:
