[ROM] Great discovery: THL T100S ROM works on H9008 too!

Hi Sniper47.
I'm testing Wakelock as we speak. (so far not so good )
I take on board what you mean about all the different phones sold. You're probably right. I bought it from,

To be fair to them they have said they'll take the phone back for repair but that's a month there and back so at least 2 months and no guarantee. Ironically at the start of all the powering off I thought it was my fault, pressing the power button i n my pocket so I tried different pockets (one being the back pocket) and so I needed to go to the shops, you guessed it! I went in the car to the shops and when I got out the screen was cracked, 2 inches across the right hand side. So I can't even send it back now even if I wanted to. Just can't believe it.

I've been testing the settings out and 4 (PARTIAL_WAKE_LOCK) seems to be the lowest setting that works. of course all the others up to 7 work as well but will use more battery.
Of course I'll need to test it out fully to see what affect it has on the battery but at least it looks like I have a usable phone

Yea. not to throw salt on the wound, but sitting on glass is never a good idea. Hopefully the wakelock app at least helps a bit. If nothing else, the kid will make good use of it I'm sure.

A few days on and wake lock works great with only a small hit on the battery.

If you want to investigate further I think that[Tool] MTK Tweak 6589T Translated could solve the issue too. This to can be downloaded from this forum.

I've been really surprised this app doesn't use more battery. I'm getting 15 - 18 hours use from my phone with moderate use, mobile data on or wireless on all day. I thought my phone was done for but this app has really saved my skin.
The H9008 is a great phone just a shame about the shutting down.
Nice to hear your phone has been sorted with this app as well.

Hello mentta1, you're right, it didn't drain the battery until i inserted the sim card, now it drains the battery and I don't get all that long with two bateris, but the phone doesn't shut down.
We've got to keep researching for the solution, or wait for a new rom from the manufacturer.

So. Do you think it is better to use this rom with wake lock than the nori v2 mlais mx60tpro versión? I am interested to know which do you think is the best combination for the tianhe H9008 versión.

According that I have readed I can see there are three options to mount in our device...
This THL100 rom
STAR H9008 rom
Mlas mx69tpro_nori rom

Am I on the right way?

Well if you're gonna flash it too, and we both didn't have a shutdown for 24 hours the chances are big it has been solved.

All the THL ROMS that I find are in CWM flashable format. What can I do to get a .img file from it? please someone help!
