[Question] iNew V3 Mobile is not working with any SIM in INDIA

Dear Friends

I am from India and I bought iNEW 6000 from a Chinese site.after receiving I have the same problems.It is not working with any Sim.It just keep showing cant connect to the network.As mentioned here I changed the IMEI numbers using random generator but I am not lucky enough to get the problem solved.Please help me.The problem persist even after I changed ti IMEI numbers.

The engineer mode works for changing the imei
Bit of a cheeky suggestion but Often if you look on eBay for faulty iPhone motherboards they list imei number on there.
I can't suggest you borrow one from there but if you did it probably would never be an issue unless you traveled to the country the phone is from.
Just remember that I don't condone this.

I did googled for faulty iPhones in eBay. I found no IMEI # there. After giving my old phone's IMEI #, my issue got resolved. 2 phones having same IMEI, will it be a problem in any way? Will my old phone work, if I want to use it? Please clarify. My old phone hardware is still really good. I just need to flash a rom to make it work.
