As someone with one of these phones, I am encountering 3 issues with mine;
As most phones and tablets are glued using a double sided type tape, that what is basically happening is the phone is overheating which is melting the glue causing the screen to come away from the phone.
Because the phone doesnt charge fully, its easy to.leave the phone on charge too.long causing overheating and using the phone for long periods cause overheating and I suspect this has in time caused the screen to come away from the phone. Despite some comments that the screens should be screwed this is not the case. Even LG, Samsung and other big names use glue. Its the overheating that is the problem here. My advice would be to remove the screen and use a heat resistent glue to stick it back. You don't want to use a super strong glue as this may prevent replacement in the future
