Hi
This is a quick test for root.....and should be easy enough to understand.
At this stage you do not have root.
lets review
pitone02 says vroot then install supersu, I assume he means chainfire's supersu APK
so can you pls use a code box to reply to the following
code] something [/code] ....I have removed [ from left of code]
now do this
and show result in code box
read on if there is a result.....if no result then vroot failed and you need to do it again pls
####################
only if su exists on phone
If vroot did put a su executable into system.....reboot phone
then go to playstore and install this app if you can
reboot phone if it works
go to playstore install a root file manager, such as ES File explorer or
root browser
then you can remove the chinese su apk from /system/app
oops....I can't use vroot so it might install the su into
/data/app.....but don't delete the
"eu.chainfire.supersu*.apk"
I should mention the other method while I am here
as Athos says
put a custom recovery onto your phone
Then you download a zip file that contains the su executable from here
put that zip at base of your sdcard then reboot into recovery
choose install zip
choose from sdcard
choose that zip file
good luck
