I bought a Doogee T3 after reading an Android guys article saying it would work on AT&T or T mobile......well It only is 2G....The bands for USA 3G and LTE aren't compatible. Is it possible to make this awesome phone work as a real 2016 cell phone and not a throwback to 2006?

Has nothing to do with year. It has to do with what frequencies the phone has and what area it's made for. You won't get LTE. That's 100% sure. It has 1900 for 3G, so it might get AT&T 3G and should get T-Mobile 3G. What carrier do you use?

You still might get H+. And can use Wi-Fi and 2G. Not completely useless. Try both ATT and T-Mobile and see if you can get H+.

I tried on AT&T but no matter what I do with settings and APN I can't get a signal better than 2G. Perhaps I'll try T mobile
