Just one more question guys, I use my phone as my satnav, I have seen fixes for the GPS on MTK6589T devices, but have also seen peple say GPS is still not good, this is quite a big thing for me as i use my GPS LOTS and LOTS. I do however hardly reboot my phone so i dont mind if i just have to aqure gps data after booting. Any advice appreciated as always.
I can tell you I had no problems with my i6000's (MT6589t) GPS signal. I did not have to fix it or configure it or anything. I just turned it on and it worked on my 3 hour trip... no problems.
I feel with a popular/known/name brand phone like the iOcean, the GPS should work just fine.
