Other than "your needs" you must have A LOT of money. Over 1000$ easily.

Your comment doesn't make any sense to me. Take the bv5000 and upspec the camera to something decent, add a little in the way of plastic bumpers and rubber seals and i would be pretty happy. THERE'S NO REASON China can't build this for under $250.My current innos d6000 is perfect except it needs the above plastic bits and rubber seals to survive my lifestyle.
As to my needs, i spend weeks at a time working in the bush the world's wildest places with not much more than what i carry. It is my computer, my camera, and communication.
