looking for higher spec rugged phone than BV5000 - N8ofire - 2016-02-12
I have seen the BV5000, and I like it except for the crappy camera they are calling 13mp.
I need big battery, drop and water proof, nice camera, dual sim and running 5.1 or better. Does anyone know of something that fits my needs? thanks

Other than "your needs" you must have A LOT of money. Over 1000$ easily.

Your comment doesn't make any sense to me. Take the bv5000 and upspec the camera to something decent, add a little in the way of plastic bumpers and rubber seals and i would be pretty happy. THERE'S NO REASON China can't build this for under $250.My current innos d6000 is perfect except it needs the above plastic bits and rubber seals to survive my lifestyle.
As to my needs, i spend weeks at a time working in the bush the world's wildest places with not much more than what i carry. It is my computer, my camera, and communication.
