yes i installed chainfire's supersu when phone was already rooted. during install it ask me if i want to delete other SU app (there was only vroot SU installed) and i answered YES.
to change imei i think you have to flash a valid nv-ram image and then use mobile uncle tool.
if you haven't a valid nv-ram image into the phone i think you can't restore imei.
did you got error in SU update?

no, i didn't restore imei after flash.
flashing boot and recovery at right address (check your android scatter made by mtk mobile suite) flash doesn't destroy imei.
My flash was destroyed, I believe due to the reason I had to re-flash the phone.
Right vroot says the phone is successfully rooted I try to run SuperSu which doesn't want to install it says SU binary needs to be updated. I used the both modes and they both just fail. Any thoughts please
did you got error in SU update?
