Any idea about the update tool OS compatibility?
As a non-windows user, I have yet to find a solution that will work with OS X or Linux. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Where can I find that xperia-ROM, Maine_Coon? Is it multilanguage, does it have gapps and is it rooted? Why is it so good? Would like to try some more ROMs
Edit: never mind, I've found it.

glad you found it, wasn't too hard, was it?
I've tried the stock and couple of Samsung ROMs.
Xperia 2 is still the best - IMO of course.
