First you must check that you have supported lcd driver.
If you have supported driver you should :

MAKE BACKUP (rom and imei) just in case

I did like this, downloaded rom and scatter file from need rom page. Replaced scatter file which I downloaded with the one in the rom folder.

Loaded that scatter file in sp flash tool, checked all the missing squares and loaded their path for every missing thing example: uboot goes for file uboot.bin, catch...etc..

After that when is all checked you must use firmware upgrade and just do it. After it is over your phone will tell you that encryption failed.
After you see that (it will boot to that encryption failed screen) you must turn of your phone, and hold power + volum + button. Then wipe date reset and wipe catch . After that reboot and voila you have kitkat



EDIT: Adrian you should check if you have supported LCD. You can do that with mtk tool, it says something about that in this thread.

Mine is NT35512 too.

Play around all methods to flash and it is still black screen. Too bad

istalled yesterday, te version in need rom
the manual of installation is as above. the flash tool is v5.

it works, cool. Thank you. Installed by this instruction:

1. Installing driver MT65XX android phone (the ones you set yourself for the inevitable one must know)

2. Shut off the phone, remove the battery.

3. Unzip the downloaded rom, open up FlashTool v3 or v5, select Scatter-loading baskets browse to the unzipped folder selected rom MT6582_Android_scatter

Looking at the 4 position one finds that FlashTool not tick that UBOOT, RECOVERY, CACHE and USRDATA. I tick craft into 4 positions then left-click on each one and browse to the location uboot.bin for UBOOT respectively, for RECOVERY V3_140722__recovery_140728-171 533, 171 533 V3_140722__boot_patched_140728 for CACHE and DATA-4. Connect a cable with a laptop or computer, not connected to the phone.

5. Click the Upgrade Firmware-then quickly connect the other end of the cable to the phone.

6. Wait for the flashing process ends there will be a small bulletin board with blue letters show up ok's it.

7. Unplug the cable, and open it up. I teach you how to boot up the machine and get straight to the main screen, then watch as FlashTool process is complete. And what machine you boot logo hangs or something they do to the last step,

8. Hold the power button + volum + to enter recovery mode. The format you select wipe data reset and wipe cache, then reboot system now, will guarantee 100% succes

Everything is ok, except the GPS. it says all time found 10 satelites but 0 connected.

I thank you on behalf of myself and the other members, but I only use those ROMs that are on this forum,and for now I'm staying at JB 4.2.2 I've edited it works and looks like Android L and works great for me. I'm still waiting for an official KitKat, and if it does,ok, if not,again ok

Just an update.....
having played around with this since installing,I have not found any problems... yet. GPS working fine, NFC working fine,OTG working fine and it seems to have fixed my crazy battery problem.My battery used to go flat in about 5 hrs,even with light use, prior to flashing I charged my battery to 100%,flashed the rom,installed my apps and tested everything out,I've made 3 'phone calls about 5 mins each and my battery is showing 92% after 1 day 12 mins 17secs according to battery spy !!!

Can you please share how you made your GPS work?
Everything works fine, except that. Finds 10+ satellite, but never locks them.
