#1
Hi

I am not even worth it to be called a noob..lol

Just popped on this site and registered for the reason to get for my hero 7500+ a better performance....I tried to do that 2.0,2.5,3.0 gb data partition using flash tool for mt6589 and a scatter file also for mt6589....finally I've done how it is writen here and every tghing went ok till....till I turned phone again on...appears a logo named: ''mlais''on a white background...thats all...also i tried to press power button and volume up at the same time and also nothing changes

will I have a chance to resolve this some how?

thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english

Plug your phone via usb cable to the pc, and boot with power and vol+ simultaneously. Maybe you need adb drivers, but you have already installed according to your statement. Then it will boot into cwm recovery. ... I assume you have also cwm recovery installed? You must do all wipes (dalvik, cache, data) in cmw recovery.

Can you link to which 3GB EBR you used? Originally, one user had an issue with the 3GB mod unless boot.img and such were included. I believe the issue was something else though.

If you hold VolUp+Power for a long time, it still doesn't go into recovery? If you can get into recovery, do as ChrisX suggested and factory reset.

If you still can't get into recovery, flash the official firmware from 24 APR, but before you flash, replace EBRs with EBRs from 3GB mod. After flash, go into recovery and factory reset.

Happyhey guy's....I just needed to be a bit more patient with holding the power button and the up volume button in the same time pressed...well finally I've found out that I've got a new firmware and in this way I've been able to install a new rom on my hero 7500+ device as how ever I couldn't use my phone...I've said to myself:lets try to install a new rom now that I have access to do it from my SD card....pulled out my SD card...inserted it in the pc...downloaded that new rom from zopo which have been posted in forum a few ago but no success as I have had to use that rom with sp_flash_tool,which I've done finally...and here we are...got my phone back in function mood with a new rom from zopo....again guy's thanks for your intention to help me,I very appreciate this,Rolleyes I thought...gosh!...short life for my hero 7500+

1.but guys what's about rom from cyanogenmod?will I have a posibillity to to flash a cyanogenmod 10.1 on my hero 7500+ using sp_flash_tool?

2.anotherf question:those EBR 1 EBR 2 files which are responsible for the partition of data memory of the phone..may I change them in the rom pack before applying that rom pack through sp_flash_tool?...I mean,I observed that the rom pack which have to be flashed with sp_flash tool,is containing those EBR files inside.....I downloaded EBR file 1 and 2 for 500 mb for 1500 mb and for 3000 mb....as you guy's already know that those zopo phones have a too little data memorySad

respect for your work guy'sHappy

I've had no issue at all with 4GB. I have over 100 apps downloaded and installed and still have plenty of space left. Even without the 3GB mod it's enough for more than 100. With the 3GB mod you should easily be able to fit 300 standard apps. If you 'App2SD' the bigger apps, probably more like 400-500.

1) No, don't count on it.
2) Yes, that's what I just wrote to you in the previous post

Glad you got it worked out. It's a common issue that people don't hold the buttons long enough.

I used the Samsung with Xperia interface for quite a while. I liked that firmware, though I didn't use Xperia. I used Apex because can backup/port your homescreen setup/settings from firmware to firmware with Titanium.

I think it's an SD Update, not SP Flash Tool firmware.
