The line you marked says what I am saying. The first rom is for 900 model and it is the only one without the factory;s initials (cxq)
If you check also the 1.0.1 (the version for the 900 model not the old 1.0.1 for 850 model) you will see the same. No cxq but iNew.

There is no way to make a 850 version phone to work on 900 band by changing software.
There are a couple of threads dedicated to this and a lot of users tried it, but no success.
It looks like it is hardware related issue.

For those who's GPS is not working well on the newer roms like this rom, can you check if you can find a gps.conf in /etc/ folder or /system/etc? For some reason, I couldn't find it in this rom and hence it is causing GPS issues.
If someone who's GPS works perfectly can upload their gps.conf, that would be helpful in determining if it is causing the degraded performance between roms. My gps used to work perfectly in 1.0.1 up until about a month ago. Upgraded to this rom (1.1.5) yesterday and it is worse. I'm not sure how to extract the gps.conf from my 1.0.1 backup on Windows, perhaps when I get time, I'll extract on Linux.

My antivirus (Kaspersky Internet Security 2013) detects a trojan in the file "CXQ_iNew_1.1.5_reup" in the app SmsReg.apk in the file classes.dex
