Here's what i'm doing: Under Download, I select the scatter file (for Android 6.0 here in the forums), then under "select all", i'm only selecting recovery that points to JRFT160107.img. I am noticing though that the scatter file is for MT6735M, and not MT6735P like I have, so this is sounding all the more unlikely of a solution (if that even matters). When I click Download and restart the tablet, I get a "S_CHIP_TYPE_NOT_MATCH (Error code = 3184)". Doing a quick google search, this does confirm that the scatter file I have doesn't match my chip. This is kinda good i guess, because I can still see the device. Do you have the scatter file for the MT6735P? As you mentioned, this may all be a waste of time because it does appear the version 6 and version 7 need a different twrp.
Ok, ... First things first. I have never touched the IMEI tab, so I leave it as it is, on mine I have S109. But we are only concerned about the Download tab, so the IMEI bit wont take any part on this. >>> check this if that error you get corresponds to this tab.
As we dont have scatter file for Android 7.0 you will have to use scatter file for Android 6.0 which I presume, you already have. From the "select all" part, true, you can select the "recovery" but make sure you make a backup of it and the one inside the folder, you rename it to recovery.img so BeTools knows that, thats the file to be flashed. If that does not work, try ticking also "boot", so you can make the tablet boot (not sure if that works, but makes sense to me when you flash the whole ROM).
As far as the chipset goes, mine is also MT6735P and I have flashed Android 6.0 with that scatter file. I am showing you a screenshot of my tablet.
You are suggesting that the flash error might be because of the mismatch of the scatter file, which should be MT6735P and not MT6735M. But then I dont know how it worked with mine, strange ! You might be right though, but I do not have a scatter file for MT6735P, that whole set comes with Android 6.0 ROM and it clearly says it is MT6735M which for now it works, at least for me.
I know it is a step backwards but IF NOTHING works and you want your tablet back, I am fairly sure that if you'd flash it with Android 6.0 with all the files you have (all selections ticked) and THAT same scatter file, you will be able to get your tablet back in working order.
My advice to you is to put into practice all your knowledge and experience, I have been flashing ROMs for a while now and when nothing works I keep trying everything that comes up to my mind (rationally of course) and eventually with a bit of help and luck most of the times I succeed (not always though).
