You shouldn't have to use the computer to charge it. That will take forever. Just order several batteries. They're like $7 each. Can charge them externally as well and never have to worry about tying your phone to the charger is an added bonus.

Something like this... They are on amazon, ebay, aliexpress, and probably on CPA sponsor sites like gearbest.com. search "universal charger". They are like <$5. But again, not sure if the issue is the batteries themselves or the phone possibly overcharging them.

Does it need to be of a certain mah cos some of them I see for sale are 1250 mah.

The batteries or chargers? I've always used cheap $3 chargers and they charge the batteries to 100% fine.

I was meaning the chargers, they all seem to have different mAh,my phone battery is 2000 mAh so do I need a charger the same capacity?

What this is likely referring to is it's output rate. Meaning 1250mA per hour. It's rare to find batteries smaller than 1600mA these days. In other words, it's fine for your 2000mA battery.

i think it is a phone problem as i checked out both chargers,the only difference was the chinese one that came with phone was 1.0a output and the samsung one was 0.7a output

The output from the adapter isn't so important in regards to being too much. The battery/phone will draw/push what it's capable of.

My thought is that it might actually be faulty/inferior battery design as opposed to the phone.
