Oh too bad, just checked the TCL Idol X+ from all credible sites, for owning NO mhl nor nfc, lower rom and lower battery, I will not put it into my wishlist. Its still below my Neo N003 Premium specs, exclude cpu chip. Currently my eyes still observe into the Green Orange NX, lots of functionality and higher parameter, except it's still 1,7GHz than 2GHz.
Any specs similar to or exceeds the NX, I will put it into my wishlist.

Elephone P8 MTK6592. It's only 1.7ghz though. From what I can see, there are quite a few quad core which are running at 2.0 or more so I don't see why the new Octacores are slow comparatively.

Hello folks !!! New forum user and a great site to find ! I am in France at the moment and looking to buy my first Chinese smartphone. (Well, did have a Huawei ascend back in the good ol' US of A but it was about as smart as me).

I have been looking at all the phones in the fast changing world of Octa Core specs and I say specs as some never seem to materialise. I seem to keep coming back to the Zopo ZP998 and the Mlais MX69T pro which I believe has just been made available. The Green Orange NX looks great but is the extra $100 or so just for the better case?

I read on another forum on this site that HDC are not very good. I see they are already 'promising' a Galaxy S5 clone which looks great on paper but might be as elusive as the 64GB WCDMA Xiaomi Mi3. But if people generally agree HDC are not worth it I will likely defer to their experience.

Anyhow, I wil keep looking. My main concern is finding a reputable online dealer as there are limited warehouses in Europe although Zopo has an EU Warehouse but to 'save' you import duties they charge $57 dollars shipping even if you live just a few miles away. Sort of

Appreciating a phone is not only what we desire but what our individual needs are and budget allows us of course, I won't ask the predictable 'What's the best phone out there?'. However any tips on quality and trustworth shipping to Europe would be gratefully received. I am not a game player at all, but do like to browse constantly although that is probably more a phone plan issue than a phone issue. Should I be looking to a newer OS like KitKaAt? Or at least one that is upgradeable? Are most of 4.2.x phones upgradeable?

Once again, great site and I look forward to returning to it constantly.
