You seem very interested to testing new ROMs. I have found a new Custom ROM (it isn't yet published on Needrom) ... but I'm afraid to give it to you ... I have to do some tests on it at first ... but I'm very busy lately ... and then I can't do any test on it.

You can give me the ROM to test it. I don't have any problem. I am happy to help you. These days I don't use the phone very much, as I don't have much work to do, so I have a lot of time to test.

I can give you the Custom ROM for testing ... but you must promise me to don't give to anyone this Custom ROM ... this Custom ROM is still beta ... a group of people are working so hard to improve this Custom ROM ... yesterday I have tested this Custom ROM too. When this Custom ROM will be fairly stable ... then I will publish a post here on Chinaphonearena.
I send you the link by private message ... please tell me the test results by private message.
I trust in you ... please do not spread to other people here.

Hi Conair ... I missed you Rolleyes

I have tried the MIUI V7 for sure ... it is a good Custom ROM ... but it has a big defect : Xposed Framework doesn't works ... in my view a ROM without Xposed Framework is like car without steering wheel ... so I have decided to do not post any tutorial about MIUI V7

But there is a great news : In collaboration with an italian developer, I have made a porting of a Custom ROM ... it is the VIBE based on Lenovo K3 Note ... it is a very performs Custom ROM ... and Xposed Framework works very well. I will post a tutorial about it (included all the steps to install it and many suggestions about it) in the next 3 days.
Please just be patient for 3 days Big Grin

Just to say what a great review and information. I was trying to find how to fit SIM 1 because there is nothing in the user manual supplied with the phone. There is was in your review !!!!

first of all ... THANK YOU this topic helped me a lot!
still a little bit search needed to know how exactly flash a rom (i dont do that often) but after some reading i managed to flash a rom and so i finaly have a rooted device Big Grin

but i got a problem now!
i can not install google play games ...
there is always the 505 error, even in a fresh installation of the phone
i did a factoryreset, deleted the cache ...
i downloaded serval older versions ...

nothing did work Sad

any idea?

"NVRAM WARNING: Err = 0x10"
but your tutorial at the first post does nothing for me :S
i change the mac on every boot but the error is still there Sad

so i can not connect to the wifi

WARNING NVRAM err 0x10.

Here is the procedure to remove the network:

1) The phone must have root permissions
2) A program to work on the file system (such as root explorer downloaded from the play store)
3) Download the attached Wifi_Fix_Files.rar
4) Go to the System Folder: data / nvram / APCFG / APRDEB
there are two files: wifi and wifi custom.
You have to delete them
5) Copy extracted Rar files from Wifi_Fix_Files.rar and position them in the same folder of those just deleted (basically replacing)
Once that is done reboot and the wifi network ghost is gone.
The procedure has been tested personally

when i install space rom my phone screen goes black and verticle lines appear on screen nothing display
plz help me in this regard
when i again install stock 5.0 rom all things become okay
but when install space rom screen shows vertical stripes
