it seems like the new version no more support MT6589
i can back up the rom from the phone, but cannot process file for recovery file in zip format , as we usually use to flash like a card flash rom.

If I understand correctly, you mean it can't process recovery to make CWM for flashing through recovery? What about processing to make CWM for standard SP Flash Tool?

yes, u can back up the rom, make CWM recovery image, then process the rom for SP flash tool, except u cannot make a CWM recovery zip file for flashing tru CWM recovery.

MTK droid rool n tools has been updated to 2.5.1 since there is a bug in 2.5.0
