Hi, I have this phone too. It was working fine for me until now. I have it for like 6 months but for some reason it doesn't read the internal storage properly. I cannot listen to music, use gallery or download any apps fro play store. I've tried reseting it to factory setings, but didn't help. I don't know what to do at this point.

You may need to format your internal storage, you may need to install cwm recovery to do that.

The fact that it's a 32bit CPU should show that they wouldn't put 4GB ram in it.

Looks like another chinaphone by a dodgy manufacturer who spoofs specifications.

What does /proc/cpuinfo, etc, say?

The phone is fake, yes it even fools anutu, i know because i have one, if you use a file browser you will discover two files that show this to be the case, one is changeram, and the other is something like "fake_benchchmark_gold_summit" these text files programs it lies to...

the phone is mock up of an s5 galaxy, i beleive you have better look finding the rom looking for star i found working rom if you need one. teca, doesnt seem to exist though there is now a website it is not clear but the ebay seller tech_plus is the same person, he has been presented with this evidence and so have ebay and police, naturally concrete evidence is not enough, and due to poor health i have not been able to persue this case as thouroughly as i would like, though i am happy to help anyone else in my situation, as my health allows.

i was suspicious of the phone having 4gb of ram, but you are right it was difficult to prove this value fake, and even harder to find the correct value

After much more investigation, i was unable to uncover the true ram of the device, i achieve this by rooting the phone and installing a linux terminal, then using the native linux to desmonstrate the installed memory, which turned out to be 1gb or 758mb, sorry some has passed and as mentioned i have been rather unwell.

i have photographs and can prove everything i have claimed, if you wish copies of this or i can be of assistance i will do what i can, so accusing me of liable would rather backfire, i would love nothing more than have this out before a judge, ebay as far as i can tell have no genuine interest in preventing fraud, as long as it fools you for thirty days they do not stand to lose anything.

if you wish to buy chinese phone my suggestion is to stick to branded ones, not because i although i hate the whole notion of branding, but the companies themselves have an interest in protecting there brand, and have the means to force ebay into action, with the disappearance of the notion of legal aid i do rather mourn that most people are in practice not defended by the law at all as there is no means in practice for many to prosecute justice, if anyone does and can persue such a thing i am happy to help as i can.

its ironic really, personally i couldnt give a damn if my jeans were levi's as long as there jeans, but less and 1gb is not 4gb in any sense.

to test your phone yourself... root the phone... look for the unusual file names in the "etc" folder, install a linux terminal and use the linux commands to output the physical memeory.. i believe the phone uses a swap file, which uses space in the flash memeory (like the hdd). this is virtual memory and not "ram" dont confuse them, also some fakes try to use the ambiguity of the word memory to fool customers... ram is live memory which uses power to maintain its state, this allows it to be lightning fast, your flash memory (which takes the place of a hdd; hard disk drive) is 100's of times slower, but maintains its state without an active current, it is also run through the chipset rather than the cpu making it have a much higher latency. selling 4gb virtual memory, is like selling imaginary shoes, as real shoes...

your right though, its not just bad for the consumer but also the legitimate seller, as its very difficult to compete with imaginary products, if ebay then dont interviene, its very easy for things to spiral..

I do agree with you completely.
There a big black hole in the Internal storage of this phone which states it is 10Gb while is it only hardly 2GB.
I could not dig out the truth about this with any disk usage or hardware info software.
I feel the same you felt facing the same cheater.
