These are some random pics I've taken with this phone so far. I haven't put it through the full gamut of tests yet, but did try to capture different shooting scenarios. I will try to update this thread as I shoot more things. Overall I've been pretty impressed.
Mostly using Lenovo Super Camera (aka Snap It See It).
The picture attached to this thread was taken outdoors in overcast conditions. Specifically it's showing how my moonroof was "vandalized" with ChapStick a few days prior, and how water still beads on that spot. haha.
Right now I'm having problems uploading pics directly to this site (exceeding file size limits), so I'll eventually get them hosted/posted elsewhere then linked back here for reference. Thread to be continued...
Sir, yes sir. That's my Android lineage, so to say. Before those I was a Blackberry man. You seem to have a super mightly collection yourself! How do you like the W200S compared to the i6000?
Apparently the old Picasa app no longer exists. I published some pictures to my G+ photo album with public view, but I don't have a link to share here yet. My company's web filter makes it hard to get to the album right now, so it might be on hold till I get home. What are the rest of you shutterbugs using these days for easy photo sharing?
W200S is an excellent phone with new octacore cpu , a very clear crisp display , fast and with very good battery!
inew is a phablet which I like it very much and so far I haven't any problem with it...
although I use W200S for my daily activities, I also like to work with the big screen of iNew...
My THL w200s with OTA-ROM, but the 13 m outside of the main camera is labelled "8 M". I don't know how to test if it is interpolated.
Mine has inbuilt HDR camera software, factory-installed, via OTA-ROM upgrade. Does your later production model from THL?
We all would be interested in how the HDR performs, both the factory supplied software, and a third party one. Google Playtstore claims the #1 HDR is:
"A Better Camera" ... perhaps (it is very rapidy being updated).
Yes, the factory-installed camera has an HDR shooting mode. If I go to the App Info on that particular one, it says it's "Gallery version 1.1.40001".
That said, I don't use the factory installed camera. I tried a bunch of cameras on my last phone. I think I tried "A Better Camera" as recommended by @BayChaser . Still, my favorite (and most used) camera app is Lenovo SnapIt/SeeIt (aka Lenovo Super Camera and Super Gallery). It's not available from the Play store, so you'll have to find it by other means, but it's a solid camera.
For HDR, I've found it works better for me personally to mimic it digitally with post-processing software (Photoshop, GIMP, SnapSeed, etc).
What camera software are you using right now, @gregzeng ?
Stopped by a diner while heading back home after a weekend road trip. The hotel I was staying in was a dump. I never thought I'd be so happy to once again see 2-ply. Huzzah!

Still searching (camera software). I'm no longer a pro photographer. Instead: Chief Information Officer, Retired, 1984. In my case, restricted to nursing home life: lots of medicines, walking frame, doctors, carers, hospital visits, etc.
Looking at getting an Android tablet to mod photos, edit Youtube submissions. I have a Youtube channel, but yet to upload anything. Synching audio-video in Linux (Openshot, Kdenlive) seems a problem. Might try Win-8.1 now.
On your suggested camera app; googled. Trying to get it now.

Which part of China?
I'll be there later this year ... visiting in-law families.
My old memories had an old person-attendant, selling toilet paper outside public toilets. Have this changed in China yet? My wife's family probably only showed me "Foreigner's" areas? I'm a banana: yellow outside, white inside. A friend told me he was a pineapple: yellow in & out!
Plan is that we buy an "Android 4.5" 10inch Tablet PC, for photo/ video edits, newspaper reading, etc. Hopefully with USB3, NFC, Bluetooth, etc. Saving the $$ now. And of course, another latest-out octacore smartphone (five inch).
I find octacore better, faster-to-boot, than quadcore of any CPU speed.
