Hello everyone. I'm new here. Ive owned a Nexus S for quite some time now and I've just ordered a THL W8+. Its due to arrive in on 9th May.
Some of my most used apps are as follows:
Tunein Radio - an excellent internet radio app, without which I wouldnt have descovered Lewis Black.
Smooth Calendar - the widget stops me missing appointments.
Catch Notes - much simpler to understand and use than the other similar apps. I use it for my supermarket shopping list, Kids christmas/birthday present lists and a myriad of other things.
myPlayerPro - brilliant for streaming freeview tv in the UK and far superior to the TVCatchup app.

Some of my favourites I have found to be very useful:
MyWorldWeather - world wide weather info and forecast offered by official entities in each country
Android TV en abierto - live TV streaming with Access to a huge list of channels classified by country
Futbol gratis online - live football/soccer streaming
Ad Network Detector - search and display ad networks in your applications, allowing in some cases to opt-out
Android Assistant - multi tool allowing for example to clean cache, temp and other, configure useful setting like applications started at startup, batch installer, App backup and restore, app2sd, or check applications permissions with one click
World Newspapers - self explaining, Access to press on line world wide

i love power amp! i try to use other music player apps but have found nothing better so far. i anyone knows of one better let me know please.

Quickpic is more useful for older phones that do not show the full resolution image.
It is still fast for other phones though.

All-in-One Toolbox - Useful for getting phone information and cache clearing
AirDroid - Transfer files via WIFI, read & write SMS from your computer, backups
Fing - Network tools. Provides network information & Wake On Lan function
inSSIDer - Wifi analyser
ES File Explorer - Has Root option, can see LAN and Cloud files too

Gallery: QuickPic -> simple and very fast.. do what is supposed to do
Launcher: Nova Prime -> very customizable , hide apps, fast
Camera: Snap Camera HDR
Player: MxPlayer
