[Question] 'ROOTING' LENOVO S650 [MKT6582]

hi guys! i've tried to root lenovo s650 using VROOT. and it worked! ROOTCHECKER says my phone is rooted. HOWEVER, after few minutes, it enters infinite 'bootloop', whereas it repeatedly restarts itself automatically. so i uninstalled the 'ROOT', and my phone now is 'unrooted' again and stops entering 'bootloop'. btw, i tried all the QUICK/EASY methods in rooting android phones posted in sticky thread and none of them worked for me. (methods A - H)

any ideas? suggestions? on how to root this phone?

also, i got a question! is it required to root my phone before flashing a custom rom?
