This is a right side up cwm recovery. This recovery should work on all mtk phones regardless of screen size.
This type of recovery doesn't install so anyone can use it, the recovery will be gone on reboot, the recovery runs from phone's memory so once memory is flushed recovery is gone, ie (reboot)
This recovery can do the samething a regular cwm recovery can do, ie (backup, restore, install zips, and so on)
How to use
Must already have custom recovery installed, then just install the zip file. anyone can try it, but if your cwm is already right side up, this one will be up side down.

I mean... How to run it once installed? You said it clears from memory if the phone is rebooted...
Does it replace the existing recovery?

It becomes the current recovery until you reboot, on reboot your other recovery will return.
once you install cwm_test.zip, this recovery will work just like any other recovery until you reboot, on reboot it is gone. as long as you don't reboot and remain in recovery mode this recovery will remain.

Having only just discovered and digested this, I hope you don't mind my musings.
If anyone has only got an old custom CWM, your method will give them a very recent one.
Very cool indeed.
The beauty of this concept is, there may be devices that can fit an older CWM but not a newer one?
But your newer one unpacks in RAM and not flashed so it looks superb.
I know TWRP is more of an issue here.
What do you think?

Mods
Can you make this a sticky please for the following reasons
1) it corrects those users with upside down CWMs
2) it allows users to have old CWM and a later version
