I found those on a Russian forum and Google translation was garbage .

I don't know the difference between v4 & v5 ... I supposed that v5 is better than v4 ... however I have sent a message to DEJAVU-VIZAVI (the person who made these ROMs). When he will reply to me ... I will post here the difference between v4 and v5.

Cleopatra, I tried to boot into recovery, but it freezes at the ECOO logo. It seems that there is no recovery. Which recovery should I flash now? If I flash the recovery from the stock 4.4.4, will it work?

It was my fear ... it is for this reason that I have asked you to try to restart your phone in Recovery mode :-(
Don't worry my friend ... we solve together this problem ... please follow CAREFULLY the next steps :

1) At first, download and flash (click on "Download" in SP ... NOT "Format All" ) the next KK stock ROM :

2) And then, flash the next TWRP (load the scatter inside the rar on SP Flash Tool) :

3) Copy the next Flyme into your microSD :

4) Turn off the smartphone; turn it back on while simultaneously pressing the power button + volume up. You will see the display completely black and white lines of commands having microscopic dimensions; you will have to move to the first line using the volume + button, and confirm the command by pressing the volume -. You will enter into TWRP custom recovery.

5) Tap on Advanced Wipe, put the check marks on : Dalvik Cache, System, Cache, Data, Internal Storage, Internal SDcard ... WARNING : remove the check mark on External SDcard !
And then, Swipe to Wipe.
6) Return to the main menu ... and tap on Install, tap on Select Storage (External SDcard) ... and select Flyme OS.zip ... and then, Swipe to Install.

Everything will works well :-)

News about difference between v4 and v5 ? Certainly ... I have sent messages to DEJAVU-VIZAVI ... he told me that the v5 has a fix about fingerprint.

It's been a while now and there is nothing new from the developers side. No new ROMs, no updates or bug fixes on existing ROMs. Does this mean that Rom development for the ECOO E04 3/16GB is at the end of the road? You Cleopatra being more it to it, having more connections know anything about? Can we expect anything new?

PS. According to your opinion and after trying-experimenting with all those existing ROMs, do you believe that the "SpaceRom 1.0.0 Android 5.0" is the best we have at the moment?

I haven't tried it yet, but from what I've been reading that's my believe.

Exactly ... unfortunately you are right ... the ECOO E04 is at the end of the road ... no support from the official site ... they are also deleted the official stock ROMs (for the 3GB) from their site ... you can verify it with your eyes ... try to download them from the next link :

However someone is working on to improve the performance of the Ecoo e04 ... me too. Soon I will publish an updated tutorial. Sure ... the SpaceRom is the best ROM ... but it is only my opinion.
I want to give you a gift that I will post on my updated tutorial ... it is a marvellous tool ... finally I have found the working version for the Ecoo e04 ... with this tool you will can install/uninstall apk, backup contacts and text messages and many more.
