This custom rom is currently the best alternative to the stock rom



based on Verevka project


- Added SuperSU-v2.79-SR3
- Added Busybox.v1.26.2
- Added Boot Shell
- Added Open Camera v1.38.1
- Removed MagiskManager apk & zip
- FIXED battery over-consumption

BEFORE PROCEEDING (FUNDAMENTAL) :

Make sure you HAVE INSTALLED the ota update 2017-4-26 !

INSTALLATION STEPS :

1) Reboot onto TWRP (fastboot boot c:\adb\recovery.img).
2) Make a backup of Boot, System and Data into microSD.
3) Make a backup of NVRAM separately into microSD.
4) Tap on Wipe (main screen of twrp).
5) Tap on Advanced Wipe.
6) Select Dalvik/System/Cache/Data/Internal Storage BUT NOT Micro SDCard.
7) Swipe to Wipe.
8) Return to the main screen of twrp.
9) Tap on Install.
10) Tap on Select Storage and tap on Micro SDCard.
11) Tap on Apo_X-RR_v5.8.3-FIN.zip
12) Swipe to confirm Flash.
13) When finished - reboot.
14) Be patient.
15) Tap on icon of SuperSU to activate it.

16) FOLLOW CAREFULLY the steps to configure Boot Shell.
To be sure that Boot Shell will execute the command at boot,
untick and tick once again the check marks.

17) Tap on Settings.
18) Cellular data is off --> TURN ON.
19) Tap on About phone.
20) Tap on Build number --> tap seven times.
21) Developer options --> enable Android debugging.

22) VITAL : restart the phone.
23) GRANT Superuser request to Settings (1000).

24) Flash the new TWRP 3.0.3 (by SP flash Tool).
You will find the new TWRP 3.0.3 at the first post of the next thread :

25) Reboot onto TWRP recovery.
26) Install Gapps (wipe Dalvik and Cache before to reboot).
27) Follow the video-tutorial to complete the configuration.

Suggestions :
I suggest you to restart the phone at least twice in one day.

I've been using Resurrection Remix final version for some time now, and it's great.
But yesterday, I tried to turn mobile Hotspot on and it gave me an error. I won't let me turn USB tethering on either.
Another minor bug, is when I try to open google keyboard preferences, the app just crashes.

Do you plan on fixing those bugs?

Hi Cleopatra,
as I wrote you in the TWRP thread, I installed TWRP 3.0.3 on my phone and after stock room I installed the RR, the final one. System works perfect, but...
The phone has been not in use (there is no SIM-card, so data is off continuously).
The battery drain is dramatic. Please look at a battery report picture.
One day, 83% power gone with 79% when phone is not active.
It’s far away from it supposed to be.

That is because you do not pay enough attention to my steps.

For example, do you have set Boot Shell ?

I have tested many times the RR Final Release.
The battery life is amazing (confirmed from other owners of Apollo X).
In my hands the duration is almost two days !

I recommend you to read once again the installation steps.
I recommend you to watch once again the video-tutorial.

Based on TWRP 3.0.3 not Carliv recovery as in the movie guide.
I had done it before the same way, but maybe there was some mistake.
I will check it out now and keep you informed.

Hi can u help me with your nvram backup i lost my imei, i write my iimei whit many tools but never get signal maybe nvram its damaged.
