yesyes worked, installed on 7, incredible the display turned on

then I used only SP flash tools 5.1640 with nougat V17.0_20170711

you have to hold down the key on the phone continuously for all the flash time though

I missed 8.4 out and went to 8.5, is a lot faster than stock and I dont think you can get android updates, just need to keep updating the whole ROM.
Next update will be 8.0 oreo RR

SuperSU and Busybox

a) Download SuperSU.zip and BusyBox.zip at the next link :

b) Unrar the rar

c) Copy SuperSU.zip and BusyBox.zip
d) Paste SuperSU.zip and BusyBox.zip onto microSD




SP Flash Tool 5.1744.00.000

TWRP STEPS :


1) Tap on Settings --> About phone --> Tap Build number seven times.

Developer options --> USB debugging enabled.

2) Turn off the phone.

3) Open SP Flash Tool.

4) Unrar the TWRP rar.

5) Load the scatter file inside the twrp folder.

6) Select Download Only option.

7) Click Download.

8) Connect your turned off phone to the pc with USB cable.

9) When 100% disconnect the USB cable.
10) Enter onto twrp recovery (volume up + power buttons simultaneously).

IMPORTANT

11) When ask the PASSWORD, tap on CANCEL
12) Swipe to allow modifications.
13) Change the Cyrillic language onto your language

FUNDAMENTAL

14) Tap on WIPE
15) Tap on FORMAT DATA
16) Type YES and then tap the check mark

VITAL

17) Tap Install, Select Storage, Micro SDCard, OK.

18) Tap on SR1-SuperSU-v2.82-SR1-20170608224931.zip
19) Swipe to confirm Flash.
20) Tap on Reboot.
21) TAP ON DO NOT INSTALL (the next screenshot) :



Keep in mind that you have just formatted the data,
then you have to reinsert your informations (the setup wizard).

22) Tap on the icon of SuperSU to activate it.
23) I strongly recommend you to install the next apk (root required) :

This apk is useful to avoid to press volume + power buttons to enter onto twrp.

Tried this new TWRP, it's not seeing my microSD card.

The phone does when booted, and the older TWRP versions all do.

hi, i have a problem with my u7 plus, have changed my screen with a new one and because the white screen, have flashed the phone with SP Flash Tool, but now the problem the touchscreen doesn't work, have tried to flash android 6, 7 but nothing...
is a software problem or hardware ? need to change the screen with a new one ?

Dear Cleopatra,

I would like to ask for your help. I seem to have been lost in this firmware flashing… My father damaged the digitizer on his U7 Plus and I ordered a new one. Unfortunately the whole screen was just white after installing, that is when I found out that if I flash a new firmware on it it will be fine. Well, I downloaded the stock rom v09 from needrom and flashed it. Good news: the digitizer is ok, but the system crashes after the logo. (some kind of UI error). I wanted to go into recovery, but there was nothing in there! This is when I flashed your recovery only (3.1). Good news, the recovery works! But after swiping and formatting everything the phone stops at the logo.
After reading all your descriptions I realised that the mistake I made is that I did not flash the correct stock rom! (v17) Finally I found it on the oukitel home page, but if I want to flash it the SP tool says: The scatter file format is invalid! (0xc0030001) There is no text before the ###### General Setting in the scatter file, so the solution must be something else.

Could you please help me, what am I doing wrong? Is is possible to flash v17 from an Sd card with the help of your receovery?
