Everything is working great now just installing my apps, a great rom at last I got kitkat many many thanks for your hard work with this rom 10/10 from me

I have uploaded the fixed rom to needrom, awaiting review, This will fix any sim card issues etc .

Rom comes re-partitioned and includes latest TWRP recovery, Which means flashing to other kitkat custom roms is possible.

Is that with the new flash? The problem with the old one was the recovery, it just wasn't setting permissions correctly, The new TWRP fixed this but it only works with kitkat.

If you haven't tried my latest, Try that. Also you could try going into recovery with file manager, deleting whole nvram folder and try restore again, files may still be in there from previous and things might be corrupted . worth a shot.

Whilst the new one only has drivers for

Personally i have HX8394a type version . You can check yours with mtktools . Confirmation drivers just aren't included in with release .

According to somebody on needrom, they have a method to always get it working. That is on the stock link though, and the rooted custom version, says the same as above. Considering whether to try and flash it today and hope for the best. Chances are probably none to get it up and running.

I highly doubt it would work as the drivers just aren't there , But if you are going to, you could make a backup in recovery, Flash it , If it doesn't work, just restore your phone .

I don't know why the drivers aren't there tbh, iNew seems to do things backwards, There is other phones with the LCD running kitkat, Star note etc using the same driver NT35512 and it is even in the kitkat source , unreal they wouldnt add it in.
