MTK6572 will likely be able to run Kit Kat, but the bigger question is - will Kit Kat be developed for phones with MTK6572 and the answer is very likely 'not'. Likely we won't see Kit Kat on MTK6577 either.

I agree with Giz as usual. The MTK6572 is a dual core 1.x GHz processor. With only 512 GB of RAM, the phone is nearing end-of-life. If I were a manufacturer or a developer, I wouldn't waste resources porting to a platform that's without a future.

I got it and I have pre-installed KitKat ROM so yes it was possible.
The problem is:
There's no root method which works for this FUCKING phone!!
