Hi guys, i'm back again and still with bricked phone Sad

the other guy on facebook that i talked about last time seems to be a no go coz he couldnt backup his rom.

So, i got another same device (infocus m2 3G) for the sake of reviving the old one and i really need help with unlocking the bootloader again.

I have all the driver installed and boot up the phone on fastboot mode. when i give the command 'fastboot oem unlock' it stays on waiting for device but when i add usb vendor id 'fastboot -i 0x0489 devices' the result is mt6582 fastboot. Which means the connection is good, i believe. And so i do 'fastboot -i 0x0489 oem unlock' it always give error 'failed, remote unknown command'

Can you please guide me again on this? fastboot reboot, reboot-bootloader works fine though.

thanks for the reply, i have tried that too. it didnt recognise when i connect fastboot. I used android sdk for fastboot.

And yes your phone is not in the( Supported Devices) but it may still unlock your bootloader and the root part too

the tool recognise as adb device when i plugged in with usb debugging on. but clicking on unlock bootloader stuck at reboot -1 failed. also i tried manual booting to fastboot and connecting to pc. the android one toolkit cannot list the device.

install the drives that it comes with or ADB-Driver-v1.4.2 no need android sdk . that may be why you are still f*cked up
