How do I port a ROM so that my Danish carriers (3DK, TDCMOBIL etc), comes with it?
I cannot find my carrier in Network, only numbers so it is always roaming...???
I'm trying to get MIUI V5 for the Star S5 to Work properly on my phone, it is already ported to Work with my phone, just not the carriers...
So wich files and folders needs to be copied, for this to Work...?
Regards

The baseband files are what you'll need. You might want to try restoring nvram.bin .tar too.
Are you being charged for roaming?
Do a search here for roaming.
If you can enter engineering mode and check the ROMs supported basebands, that will be a good step.
Also check settings > phone info and compare baseband to stock baseband.

I first added danish language via jBar with success, I have then tried different guides wich had different ways to port (diff. files and folders to copy/paste). I then flash the ROM via CWM in recovery mode...
The phone is roaming, and can only use edge. I cannot choose or find/see my carrier or other danish carriers...
Baseband are the same, and I have also compared Bandmode in engineer settings, they are the same too...
Restoring NVram.bin.tar, how do you do that and what does it do...?
I appreciate your help big time...

That is done with MTK Droid Tools see the tutorials sections 'how to backup nvram'. That contains the data that normally isn't written by a flash. Some SIM and WiFi data.
Actually if you're not being charged for roaming, I wouldn't worry about it. Do a little test call and see if you're actually roaming or if the phone is just reporting it as roaming. There were a couple of threads about similar issue. Search 'roaming' on the forum.

I actually think I have a backup of my NVRAM somewhere, how do I apply this backup - just copy/paste via rootexplorer or similar?
I didn't know this about NVRAM, do you think that it could solve it?
I don't know if I am being charged for roaming, but internet is quite slow as on edge network. That is annoying, and that is what I want to fix... Instead of my carriers name(3DK) in top left corner, it says 23806...?

Did you try as I suggested before restoring nvram? Making a phone call and see if you're actually getting charged for roaming?

Yes, I saw what you wrote above. My question is (3rd time) did you try to make a phone call yet while on roaming to see if it's truly roaming or if the OS is just showing it as such.
The 3G is a curious problem as your baseband appears to be the same as it was with stock ROM with which 3G was working fine I assume.
There are other files besides nvram.bin and nvram.tar...the NVRAM folder which contains APCFG. Also the BPLGU & APDB

I apologize Sniper47, but I don't think that I am roaming. My country code and carrier name are present in the Network Signal Info app, but no 3G/UMTS only EDGE...
Do you think replacing the phone.apk would do the trick - or is it a stupid suggestion?
