Hi all. I've tried plugging in a USB->HDMI cable to my Doogee Y100 Plus. However, nothing appears on the screen of the attached TV. The TV sometimes thinks there is something attached to that HDMI input, but sometimes doesn't. In neither case does any sign of output from the phone appear on the TV - it's just a blank screen.
Any hints as to what the cause might be?

The Doogee Y100 doesn't have MHL.

Ah, I see.
Good thing I bought the cable from the pound shop then. Not too much lost.

Pretty standard. With very few exceptions, China phones don't have MHL. Might find it in the higher end Huawei and such.
