Hi,
I would appreciate any help trying to bring back my Ulefone Tiger Phone from the "completely dead" state where it resides.
The situation is as follows: After a flashing process the phone won't turn on, power and volume buttons are not responsive, while charging the battery indicator does not show, no recovery mode possible. Actually the phone is dead but for one last breath of hope: when I connect the phone to the PC, the USB sound works and the "MediaTek DA USB VCOM Port" entry appears under ports in the device manager.
Being the phone detected I'm trying to flash the preloader through the SP Flash Tool, I press Download, connect the phone but the flashing process does not start.
Previously to flash any rom on the Tiger it was necessary to connect the phone and when the power button was pressed the flashing process started. Now, not being able to use the power button the flashing process can't start.
My question is: is there a way to start the flashing process without pressing the power button? Buttons are not working. If not, is there any other possibility to revive the phone?
Thanks a lot for you help!!

Thank you Cleopatra,
Yes, I read carefully your post before posting but the problem is that the Tiger needs the power button press to start the flashing process and that button is not working... I wonder if there's some way to start the flashing process without that button press.
I always used the SP Tool for flashing but this time I used a program called miracle box and the phone bricked...
Thank you so much!!!

Unfortunately the Tiger has built-in battery.
Then, you can not apply some suggestions of the next thread :

Hi Cleopatra,
Yes, I know, I use the last version of the SP Tool (1648). The problem with the Tiger is that the flashing process does not start without the press of buttons and it seems that there's no reset button either as with other phones.
I wonder if removing the battery and opening the phone and trying to test point it somehow the flash process could start...
Thanks.

You could damage the battery when trying to remove it.
Do you have a laptop or desktop pc ?

Hi,
It's a laptop pc with 2 usb ports. I tried both ports and they work fine, the phone is actually detected as Mediatek port without any issue but the SP Tool doesn't start the flashing process (time out reached). Before, flashing the original roms or your nice modded version with Magisk / Xposed, etc worked great but always pressing the power button to start. Do you know if any other flashing tool that does not require that button press? Maybe that could be a solution...
Thanks!

Thanks! Do you have already tried to press simultaneously volume up+power ?
Maybe you could have a chance to start into twrp recovery mode.
I highly doubt about you will be able to boot it into twrp recovery.
Another chance could be the following :
Install Linux Ubuntu (not by VMware Workstation Player).
Then, try to flash it with SP Flash Tool for Linux.
I have to warn you that it is not an easy thing.
I can guide you.

Hi,
Actually I already tried using Linux but the SP Tools that I can find on the net are always 64 bit versions (although in the officinal page it says Linux 32 bit, it's not) and my laptop is a 32 bit version getting always the error that the exec is not the correct binary format. When I use the command "file flash_tool" for the downloaded 32 bit version of the official page I always get an output of 64 bit from this command. Do you know where I can download a real working 32 bit linux version of the tool? Then I could try in Linux.
Thanks so much for your help, I really appreciate it.

I suggest you to install a Linux 64 bit distro as soon as possible.
