I am using the app called Performance Booster on all my phones and tablets. I found this app really adding to performance.

Available from Google Play.

Requires root access.

If you had bothered to read the description of the app, you would see there the following:

"You will not find any different score in benchmarking, but you will find how fast your ROM ever, when you use it."

So benchmarks are meaningless here.

I do find it useful and efficient.

Someone else might find just a vaporware.

It is quite subjective matter.

It is not my app.

I happened to like it, all others can decide for themselves.

Hi! Do you know if this app is 'safe' for phone's hardware?

I've read that many similar to this apps push cpu/gpu beyond their limits, so you may expect lower MTBFs!

I don't think it pushes anything. No benchmark score changes, so...

I think it operates by using intelligent kernel alghorthms, some sort of hi-level governor.
