[Open Thread] Fix SP Flash tool errors and problems

Hello all..
I new to this forum. When try to update firmware my phone had bootloop and I try to empty battery to flash. When my battery empty, my phone had bricked and can't booting but can detect with computer as preloader USB Vcom port.
I get some problems flashing lenovo vibe x2 (have MTK6595). I try to flash using flashtools and still 0% when flashing.
Please help me to flashing this phone.

I flashed cwm to the phone wen it was bricked and I have been using ported rom for some months na befor the cwm started giving error message (can't mount cache recovery log and all.)So I tried formatting and flashing it again. But nortin seems to work Plzzz, Help I am almost giving up...I have tried all the suggestion posted online I came across same error still pop up brom error s da sdmmc write failed (3149) I tired various version of sp flasH tools,mtk too. Differnt usb cable, differnt pc...still same error message. I created a scatter file thru mtk driod tools then created a cwm recovry rom with sp flash tool v3 using the feed back they wen I use the file it start readin then a purple line appear and count for 6sec and the error message appear,if I try jus flashing the recovry alone don't count at all jus the timer that counr alone and it count till abt 40sec befor error message appear am using a tecno phatom A2 mtk 6589 model

Hi,

I have a Star S5 Butterfly MTK6589 device and it is not booting up. The android image is there and then reset...again and again!
I have tried to use SP Flash Tools , different versions but the same error is there S_FT_DOWNLOAD_FAIL (4008). Can someone help?

I have read all the posts here, but found no solution.

I have this error, "Bootloader doesnt exists on nandflash". I formatted my phone before this error came up

please help. i need to restore my IMEI but MTK droid shows pttycmd1 device not found while restoring IMEI. no IMEI restore tool work as they do not recognize my MT6592 even though i have the correct CDC, VCOM, preloader drivers installed. and when i use SP Flash tool to flash my stock ROM backup it shows error "BROM ERROR : S_BROM_CMD_JUMP_DA_FAIL (2035)" this is a problem with CoolPad F1 and it's clones. I am using Micromax Nitro A311. Please help i need to restore my IMEI and the only way to do that is reflash my stock ROM using SP Flash Tools

There is no specific solution for that. It varies from case to case. I can only suggest what has already been mentioned in this thread.

First make sure you are flashing the correct ROM.
Use the latest version of flash tools. (Note that there are two kinds of flash tool, therefore two latest versions v3.***** and v5.***** both can be found in the general tools section, try them both)
Press down on volume down or power+volume down or volume up, etc when connecting your phone after you hit download.
Try clicking firmware upgrade instead of download.
Try formatting before flashing.

For other suggestions, just reread this thread.

If any help can be given it will be greatly appreciated. I bought the goophone i6 metal back mtk6582. I tried to flash to stock andriod but of course failed. i get stuck in a bootloop and if i press the pinhole thing between the camera it just turns to a alluminated blank black screen. the guy in china dhgate in which i bought it from insists all i need to do is charge it for 8 hours and press the pinhole and it will start working again. i just need this phone working but really need someone face to face to talk to on vid perhaps to see what i am seeing and walk me throught this.please someone help me out. on another note i tried flashing wth sptools and when i connect nothing happens, yes i have all drivers installed and i did the press the vol button while connecting it
