(This post was last modified: 2014-05-19, 10:43 by intel4004.)
I have a Umi Cross C1 and I want to go back to either the rom that I backed up when I got the phone or just stick a stock rom from another source back on.
In my ignorance I applied a rom from here [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] and now my phone boots up in Chinese so have no way of getting into cwm recovery to try out other roms. Is there any way out of this?
All I can come up with is SP flash tools to get me out of this quandry. Something i've not used before (SP Flash tools v3) and which I've tried tonight without success. Using MTK Droid tools I backed up my original rom ages ago (incl scatter) but now am having zero success at getting SP Flash tools to restore this. When I point it at the scatter file it just stalls at 'searching' and nothing happens?
I have installed PDA net vcom drivers from [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] as instructed.
Incidentally when I look in my device driver list I see 'YunOs Phone' not MTK as I thought I would. Also in SP flash tool should preloader be ticked since its path is empty?
Have followed this thread but am continuously stuck at searching within SP Flash Tools. Don't know what to do now

Why not change language to English? or a language that is native to you? I guess your rom replaced your cw recovery with stock recovery?

Makes no difference what language they are in, they are in the same place , scroll down to language and change it.

Feel like I'm banging my head off a wall here, what do you not understand when I say everything and I mean everything is in Chinese. How am i supposed to remember where the language option is? Trying closing your eyes and finding it yourself !!
