Hi there I was reading this thread and I have the same issue more or less

I have a Lenovo S850 that need the rom reinstalled on it and when doing so I have done something to the NVRAM as I no longer have imei numbers and also getting the NVRAM warning Err = 0x10 in WiFi.

after some work I have managed to root the rom and also install the TWRP recovery the rom I am using is S850_ROW_S205_140729 ... the phone is from china.

I don't have any issues with storage in the phone but any new roms I try to install via the recovery fail

could anyone please help me on this as the phone is no more than 3 days old

this is where I am at now.
I cant install the CDC driver for some reason could some one point me in the right way.
im on windows 7 what I am doing is going into device manager and right clicking on the cdc serial and updating drivers then in there I am browsing my computer to where the inf file is stored but when I click next I get Windows was unable to install cdc serial.
please im ripping my hair out trying to work this out

have you read the first post that says

I found the program to restore imei but I need root but cant seem to root it with the auto tools. Is there a method to root so I can restore imei numbers?

according to you....... you already have root

after some work I have managed to root
