LOL! I bought an ulefone u9592 (octa core, 2gb ram) and the battery have almost exactly the same thickness. The only exception is that inew battery is longer! That battery (came 2) are of 2800 mAh! I tested myself, it's MUCH more powerfull! Are iNew kidding! I can practicaly say that that battery is smaller and have almost twice power!

They are placed more or less in the middle.. They can't fit. But for the size is amazing! I will take some pics, maybe only tomorrow, because its too late

Ok, here they are.. Sorry for the bit low quality
I can tell you that the phone discharged ~2% with wifi all the time on (without sim card, the phone is for my mother :p) for more or less 12h! Mine with screen off goes 12% in a blinking eyes! xD

No they aren't, the files are bigger than 2mb xD so tomorrow I photoshop them to a smaller size :p
