Yeah I have heard great things about Ulefone so I have high hopes. some guy from another site was telling me that in his experience a Ulefone hes tested not too long ago had the best/fastest GPS connection he'd seen to yet, I also saw some thorough GPS testing on another site showing our phone performing exceptionally. Where are you located, if you don't mind my asking? Curious to see how the radios perform.
I use Per-app dpi mostly for email/Gmail, messaging and settings. On these screens, some UI elements become too big, childish-looking. For example, contact list on a normal phone will show you 7 items at once, but on a 7" screen it's wasteful - if you can see more entries, then you don't need to scroll that much = you're getting the most out your device. Font size change doesn't accomplish the same thing and device-wide DPI changes cause some other problems.
I'm in Michigan and I'll be using it with AT&T. The GPS on my Ulefone wasn't remarkable and the phone was lacking compass, so it was a step back for me.
