recently, my friend gave me back the JK12(jiake).
at first, the touch screen is not responsive, after i did the reset, then the screen become "ghost touch"
I had read about it before with the Inew6000 in china forum, but i always thought that , it must be a software issue.
Until few days ago, i took back my friend's phone, after trying to do all the rom, tweak, still no luck, then i realised that it was a hardware issue.
tried to do something tought on the web, heat under the sun, dryer blow. but all with no success.
So, when i took out the screen's flex cable n examined carfully, i saw the contact point are so tiny and complicated, then i realised that , it might be the contact point is not sitting in the right position, they might have a short circuit that cause the ghost touch.
So i pulled out the flex cable bit by bit, and tried to on it, finally, i get the flex cable sitting in the right position.
Now , the phone is back in normal condition.
Hope this will help people who have ghost touch
edit :
the flex cable i repostion is the lcd flex cable, not the digitise flex cable

Hey man, thanks for good info! But is still does not make sense, how adjusting LCD flex cable helped you solve ghost touching? I had this issue on a few phones (they were branded, not china phones). Ghost touch can disappear sometimes and then re-appear. Make sure that it is not this situation, because in my experience NOTHING CAN FIX THAT!!! I always ended up changing digitizer or the whole screen (in case or samsung galaxy R, where it is not possible to change digitizer separately).
So just test it at least one week and see if it actually fixed it! Because it still does not make sense to me....

yes. it look strange, but as we know, electronic are sensitive,
because the flex cable does not sit in the proper position , when the contact over lap the contact, it behaves strange.
for my case. once i put the screen flex cable all the way to the end, once i start the phone, in just 30 second. then the screen jump from one page to another , sometime menu pop up,
then i repostion the flex cable, then i on the phone, then there is no more jumping.
so i am quite sure because of the short cicuit craeted by screen flex cable, then the touch jump.
if u look at screnn flex cable, it is much complicated than the digitizer flex cable, the digitizer is straight all the way, but not the screen cable, . for screen cable and the cable connect the main board to the bottom(mic, and media speaker), the cable is complicated also. u cannot put the cable all the way, if the cable was not cut in properly.
that is why , for workers who install all this to complete a phone, they just try to put the cable all the way in the socket , in most of the cases, it works, but for some cases, if the cable was not cut/manufactured and the socket a little bit out of postion. then it create a short circuit after the phone is on, once the contact get heat, it expand.
if u r lucky, u might use it for few weeks, if u r not lucky, then u can use it for few hours.
so try to look at the flex cable carefully, and u think it might not siiting in the right position, then adjust it.
Anyway, it is good to try, at least i tried mine, and it is workng.
Edit
to troubleshoot a problem when the problem only comes in a while, it is hard
but for my case, it is easier, because , once i on the phone, the ghost touch appear, so once i repostion the cable, then there is no more ghost touch.

Yeah, you are right. Sometimes I notice that if using bad usb cable screen can also go crazy!
Well your case I think it might be something else, not short of contacts. It sounds more like not proper contact. Try to apply some thin tape on the flex cable to make it a little bit fatter. It should make your fix permanent.
Btw, one thing I don't get is do you have any additional cable for digitizer or everything goes through one cable?

yes, there is another cable for digitizer.
I have another JK12 in my hand, that is completely torn apart, because the other friend's phone , the touch was not response
but this one, i think, it should be misplace by my friend, i think he put it near a fire, and there are lines all over the screen/glass, at first i thought it was dust , after i split apart the lcd n screen, i only noticed that it was some crack or eletronic line inside the glass, both surfaces are smooth
hi, stevenma61 could you please upload a video how to fix this? i got a note 3 n9006 clone phone and i got a ghost touch problem i noticed that its a hardware issue because when i pressure the top and the bottom sides of the phone the ghost touches disappears also the capacitive buttons doesn't work i dont know if that happened to you but if it was could you please tell me? thanks in advance

if u look at the picture, u can see that the screen cable r quite messy, but it spilt in two part, top part n lower part, that is why u have to make sure the contact r sitting in the right position.
sometime the cable was not cut/manufactured properly, when u push the cable all the way in, then the contact are not siiting on the right point.
And u look at the digitizer cable, it is straight all the way,
of cousse, there may be other causes that make the screen jump.
first . u should disconnect the cable that connect the bottom part.because the cable is same as screen cable, if this is not sitting in the right position, i think it will cause the jump also.
but to test the ghost touch, this wire can be disconnected, no harm done. And try to make sure the screen cable is sitiing in thier respective contact.
Edit :
this picture shown is the other phone(i have two) , the other one has ghost touch. i fixed n return to my friend.
