I have tried many launcher before just to see which one feel smooth and fast but in the end I go back to go launcher. Not because it is fast, but because it is easy to costumize. Just my 2 cents.

i have a quick question to the smart launcher users here -
does it have an option to display unread sms / calls/etc directly on the icons?
(just like Nova Prime does)

i am personally using Nova (paid - so Prime), whenever the stock launcher does not do the trick for me, i don't care for animations and bling bling, for me it has to be functional an fast.

I HIGHLY rec ommend you donwload miui lite.apk from the miui website, the UI is prety darn close to ios, with the added benefits of more customizability, i really recommend you try it out first, and if ur phone is not tooo bad u shud be able to run it smoothly, but imo try it out, whats the worst that can happen now, no need to flash a new rom to get the miui ui now so go for it no risk
