Yea. If doing a video call, people are looking up your nose

4. Take screenshot immediately and then offer options, don't wait for user to choose before taking screenshot, because will miss the moment.
Not too bad. I understand these things can get annoying, and I will inform Doogee to look at them. Can't promise anything changes, but we will try.
I'd like to add that both of the top and bottom speakers are very low, i mean i used other chinese phones before but i never had a phone that has speakers this low, i wouldn't even mind if the sound coming out loud but has a little distorted noise with it, at least i would hear the other end while having public noise surrounding me even the slightest noise can effect the the call you could hear me during the call repeating "im sorry, what? WHAT??"
the bottom loud speaker is so low i have to boost the sound by placing my hand curved near the speaker to hear better while watching something, when audio files is sent to me i automatically place the loudspeaker near my ear to hear it clearly unaware that i did that everytime to just adapt with the low sound.
I have no idea if that can be fixed within the software or its just how the loudspeakers are. if its possible to boost the sound a little higher then great, but if this is loudest we can get then we will have no choice but to a adapt with it.
i hope doogee gets a note about this because this is very important since its the main thing we use in phone calls.
if they're trying to avoid ruining the sound coming out of the speakers, they can include a choice to enable a feature to make speakers louder (that might have a little bit of noise) and can be adjusted by the user or disable it for the user's convenience, because its extremely low and we would love to see some improvements as we love this phone and we would love to be a part of its improvement.

You're correct, Mix does not say "MTP", but that is the same as "File Transfer" (Media Transfer Protocol). Select it from NOTIFICATION area AFTER plugging in the phone. Is that already what you're doing?
There are several other things it can be, but must take it one step at a time. Have you tried the video I posted in Windows?
Yes I've select "File Transfer".
I've tried the video for windows under paralles in mac but there is no devices also in windows. I need to use the device always under mac.
With mac there is a "passive" option that can show the hardware devices and the usb mix is there but you can't upgrade the driver or do whatever.
Thanks.
Right. I understand you want it to work with Mac. But by process of elimination, please see if you're able to get it to work in Windows using the video I posted. Have you tried this?
Thank you!
Yes it work well under windows.
But in Mac how can I do?
Thanks.

In the app settings you can choose "in call volume". Let us know if that makes a difference.
If it doesn't, then go into MTK engineering mode. Dial * # * # 3646633 # *
1. "Hardware testing"
2. "Audio"
3. "Volume"
4. "Audio Playback"
5. Set these to 160 at the maximum level
6. at the bottom of the screen click "set"
7. Go back and into "Voice" - conversational speaker
8. For both NB and WB Set "Receiver" - "UL Gain" - 252 (maximum)
At the bottom of the screen press "Set" and then reboot.
Take a screenshot of any settings before you change them, so you can go back to original if need be.

Thank you for the help i like the second mthod.
I tried the app but didn't work for me, it was already adjusted to maximum.
MTK engineering mode method was more likely to improve the sound? i don't know, its still low but i think its a little louder now, both playbacks and phone calls. i would say it did improve something but just a little bit and its better than before i could hear the audio in noisy places but not loud enough to make people turn.
not very sure but i would say it did make it better. i will try to revert back to the previous settings and test the sound coming out to make sure if it did make a difference.
(2017-07-31, 12:27)ItHurtz Wrote: Okay. Did you also try to change the gain as well as the 6th index? (Maximum volume)
I'm not sure if im doing this correctly because there's a lot of index entries, along with the drop menu options that gives you even more entries, you can see in the attachments what i mean.
when i go to Audio Playback i get Headset PGA set to 124, should i change this one or all of them including Digital Gain index values?
i changed headset+speaker to 160, speaker was already on 120, and i changed UL Gain of Voice to 252 for both NB and WB.
if im doing this wrong a specific detailed walkthrough would be much appreciated.
I am at 714 still my camera failed to focus most of the time. Blur/bokeh doesn't work properly. The second camera doesn't seem to be working at all and when I go to blur mood the pop up "make sure you're not.......start shooting" doesn't go away.
Has Doogee said anything about the second camera yet?
I will send an email to him tonight. For me focus is fine.
Blur mode is useless, but we can see the 2nd cam is at least turning on with the new ROM in blur mode.
Edit: email sent. Again, can't promise any changes, but maybe they will surprise us.
