Can we use a different battery in the iNew v3?

Are you really this desperate that you would endanger your and other prople' health because you are unhappy with the battery life of your phones?

If it doe not fit use sandpaper seems to be extremely dangerous to me especially with we all know how it may end up fire catching batteries.

I pulled the plug and sell mine because of the not optimal battery, despite the fact that I did buy two non fitting ThL W8 batteries. Messing with those to mane them fit? No way. But of course it is up to you.

I'm sorry but this is not true. Sanding the plastic a little bit wil absolutely not harm the battery to made them explode or something.
Soldering iron its so big more higher risk, the heat can let the cells exlode ofcourse.

Maybe this explains why my battery will not often charge more above 89/90/91% and the quick drop from 100% to 85%?

In this case, if the THL W8 battery is a true 2000mAh battery, there is about 18% more juice available for our phone then!

Is this accurate? Did you try it to other batteries?

It could be, cause the difference compared to the W8 looks ways more than the 9% (1830mAh to 2000mAh)

Bought a W8 battery today. Will do the surgery during weekend. Hope I can get it done.

I can remove the top and bottom black plastic strip, much easier than I expected. Only have hesitation when using the soldier iron as I afraid that a nuclear explosion will be triggered if the lithium cells got overheat. Finally make up my mind and the contacts dropped off after 4-5 seconds heating.

Length and width are perfect, but I think W8 battery is a little bit thinker than V3 one. The back cover does not fit that well than before. But it is not a big deal if W8 can really last that longer.

Hope the battery really performs perfectly.

Of course. Must cloth off before surgery

After everything done, I put the sticker back and cut away the excess at the bottom. I also put the warranty sticker back on it too

Yes, remove the stickers and the battery will fit perfectly.
