Can we use a different battery in the iNew v3?

From which phone is that battery?

The battery is from THL W8. It needs some mods to get it fit inside. A couple pages back there is info about this and links from a Russian forum with pics. I have order one to try.

@noman1 Unfortunately is not kernel issue or SW in generally, otherwise we could get the files from these guys and make it work. I think it is a HW problem.

We have 88% of 1830mAh or 1610 mAh
So:
we can use the battery from THL W8 and we have 2000mAh
or
from ZTE V987 and we have 88% of 2500, so about 2200mAh.

Both messages are so great

Don't trust that 88%. It means nothing.
If you do the same math on voltages you'll find out that is not possible. The 0,15v difference is not equal to 12%.

Offtopic: on first day battery has made for about 6hours. This was terrible. Yesterday i got 1day and 3hours of usage without charging. It's getting better. P.S. I switched 3G off. Another thing: software is really full of bugs. Time to time I get not responding messages. When I call someone, I don't have any options on screen. Just red or green telephone icon... ROM version is 1.0.4.

Backup your data and try factory reset it.
Or reflash it to 1.0.4 again, wipe everything and do factory reset.

I know that, so results are ony legit if i test them in real life situations and not with the default benchmarks, video playback and so on..

I have ordered an Gionee GN878 ( BL-G021A battery) battery because of posts on other forums who said it will probably fit.
At first it needs to fit, if it fits than i can test further.
