The scatter is now updated.
You're not going to notice a lot of differences between CWM 5 and CWM 6. Functionally, they both more or less do the same things.
From Kouch (creator of CWM), differences between CWM 5 and CWM 6:
Quote:New backup format that deduplicates data between backups.
Faster backups.
Fixed restores > 2GB.
Minor UI tweaks (new background, animated Android)
Create Android Update Zips on device : Using this new feature, anyone can create an update.zip package of their currently installed ROM for others to use.
Also remember that when you factory reset, there is a bug that makes it wipe /system. Make sure you have a /system backup. The good thing is that you can restore what portion you want, so you can restore just /system after a factory reset.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth

Thanks. Regarding changelog, I have nothing against more speed and bugfixes
Does "deduplicating" means we can make incremental backups with only delta data saved? That would come very handy, since my backups weigh about 3,5GB after completely setting up the system.
Creating update.zip's from within CWM is also a nice feature.
If I helped you, clicking "Thank You" button will be enough.

Basically yes, it's as you say. There will be a directory with all shared exact files (blobs). Then the individual backups will be just the differing data/files.
Quote from Koush:

SpoilerQuote:New ClockworkMod Backup Format
TL;DR:
ClockworkMod Recovery now deduplicates files between builds. This results in way smaller backups.
Don't delete /sdcard/clockworkmod/blobs
Overview
I've gotten a few questions about how this works, so I figured I'd make a post on it.
Basically, here's what happens:
The files being backed up are hashed (sha256, not that it matters). Then it checks for a file with the name of the hash in
/sdcard/clockworkmod/blobs
So, if the hash of the file was c5273884b90d490134e7737b29a65405cea0f7bb786ca82c6337ceb24de6f5ed, it looks for /sdcard/clockworkmod/blobs/c5273884b90d490134e7737b29a65405cea0f7bb786ca82c6337ceb24de6f5ed
If the hash file is found, it continues on to the next file. Otherwise, it copies the file to the blobs directory with the file name being the hash.
ROMs and user data, for the most part, do not change too much between builds and backups. So, your APKs, system files, etc, are generally only stored once. This saves a ton of space. Especially between incremental backups.
Some of you may be thinking "well, how do I delete a backup?".
First, never delete the blobs directory. This would actually delete all your backups by rendering them unusable.
Simply delete the usual backup directory, and the next time you run a backup, all the unused hash files will be automatically delete (a process known as garbage collection). The recovery will show "Freeing space..." while this is happening.

Could you please update the link from the first post with CWM recovery which is included in the rom you just announced on needrom.com? Thanks.
btw, now both v5 and v6 versions should have fixed scatter and factory format, right?
EDIT: ok, I see now it's included in the Utimate Stock ROM...

Plug in an usbcable between your mobile and pc, then you see on top of the phone a small usb icon, slide the menu down click touch usb options, then set to Usb Charge Only, after that it should install adb mtk drivers without any problems, if it wont work just goto the device manager and look for yellow sign click on it and install the driver manually with the tab menu

I had a couple of android devices and it was very similar to install the cwm and change roms.
If i get the ordered Inew v3 (I hope soon) i will try to put this cwm first. Just a question when i'm in Cwm and i do the full system backup can i choose to save it directly to external Sd? Or I'm gonna save to internal sd and after reboot then copy the backup files to external sd or to my pc and again cwm?
Other question is when I have the stock 1gb partition and i install the rom via cwm, it will be change the partition layout?? Its shouldn't be i think. And internal memory still visible after flashing or its need to be format somehow?
These steps in cwm are correct?after backup: wipe data/f reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, Install zip from sdcard and reboot? Sorry for my english...
