You're holding the volume button the wrong way and going into factory mode - not recovery. Hold volume button the other direction.

Dear OP, this is my first time messing with device that did not have a cwm already made by others, so I really have no idea what to face, but with your brilliant tutorial I'm able to install recovery into my Mito A68 --a physical variant of Cherry Mobile Fuze & Micromax A96- It has MT6582 Quad-Core SoC (@1.3GHz) but mine with 512 Ram and 8 Mb cam. Thank You for all your resourceful information.

One question, from process I produced a recovery.img inside Ported-CTR folder. Is this the new recovery installed? Could this recovery.img be flashed to other Mito A68 as the new cwm? If yes, how to flash it, is it using MtkDroidTools?

I installed CWM on my Iocean G7 (MT6592), but the touch screen doesn't work (I tried auto and manual installations).

Only vol+/vol-/power buttons are OK, and there's no backup option in the menus, so I can't use it

Do you have an idea to set touch screen functional ?

I have the same problem in my new Iocean G7 (it works in my iNew 6000+ - the same processor) so I think it's something about the G7 ROM. A little help would be very appreciated

I have a HTM H10 MTK6572 UBIFS phone but this is not working. It show me a message "error. cannot unpack recovery.img". I tried it in auto and manual using a backup recovery.img from MTK Droid tools.

Does anyone knows why?
