check if u can just flash the recovery.img to yr phone , try to look for yr cwm recovery.img on the web, then , flash it tru sp flash tool, and try to boot into the recovery mode. and flash yr own back up to the phone
if u can't get yr recovery.img on the net , then create one from yr mtk droid tool back up
No luck there either. My son now tells me he had to restart (not reset) the soft bricked phone a few times before it stopped working completely because it would come up with an SD Card Error. I decided I'd better clean up the internal SD card before I tried again. I've now formatted the SD Card using CWM but think I may now need to partition it before any backups will work on it.
When I now try to flash backups to it the phone now says it has an MD5 mismatch and gives errors like 'E:Can't mount /eemc', 'E:Can't mount sdcard', 'E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/last.log'. I've tried to mount the SD card in CWM without success.
Do I now need to partition the internal card and if so, what ext size partitions do I need to use (128, 256, 512, 1024????) and which swap size (on, 32, 64,128 or 256m???).

In CWM recovery mode, do the "format cache" , then it should take care of "E:Can't mount /eemc', 'E:Can't mount sdcard', 'E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/last.log'"
To format the internal sd card
Can u still on the phone , if yes , on the phone, connect to the computer, then connect the phone as USB storage, then try to format the internal sd card with the computer, format it as fat32
Did u manage to create a card flash rom from yr back up by MTK droid tool?

I was able to create a card flash - thankyou Steven. The card flash still did not work for me.
I may be totally wrong but think the ROM memory is corrupted and won't reformat correctly. My reason for believing this is that I can flash anything except a system file. I'm thinking that the memory is corrupted somewhere in that system file partition. I was thinking I might be able to flash and recover the phone if I moved the Android (system) file partition to avoid the damaged piece of memory.
The Android (system) file sits between addresses 478000 and 280858cb. This phone has an 8gb ROM so I was thinking maybe I could move it past the damaged section by starting it at 2D180000 and moving Cache and User Data further along as well. I don't know if it is possible to do this.
The phone only boots into CWM recovery mode and starts with the errors:
'E:Can't mount / cache/recovery/command'
'E:Can't mount / cache/recovery/log'
'E:Can't open / cache/recovery/log'
'E:Cant mount / cache/recovery/last_log'
'E:Cant open / cache/recovery/last_log'
I can't mount the data or emmc partitions and it freezes when I try to mount the system partition. If I try to format the system partition the phone says 'Formatting /system....' but stops there.
I'm starting to think this phone might be beyond recovery but have just a little patience left!

Oh yes!!!!!! Success in getting my phone back up and running! I only used the preloader with another rom I had downloaded and it loaded right now. The phone wouldn't boot at first, but that was just because the battery had gotten so weak during the time the phone was bricked.
This preloader.bin worked great on my Feiteng H9500+. It charging now and I just booted to the home screen and everything looks good. Once it charges, I'll do a CWM restore to get it back the way I had it. Thanks again!!!

can you give another link for preloader.bin only since this site is not accessible from my country?

Hello guys.
I see many of you managed to unbrick their H9500+ but I was wondering if this will work also with my H9500. At the moment the phone is completely dead after an attempt to flash it with a custom rom and I don't know what to do now.

Well I just decided to test it out, using Elias' preloader and finally my H9500 came back to life. Everything seems to work fine.
Thanks to all the helpful contributors of these thread!

try formatting via spflash tool first, (except the bootloader)
than try to upgrade/firmware, all the box should be ticked, fill the empty box with your backup from read back (uboot.bin = lk , secro, and usrdata)

I have spent many hours trying to recover this phone. I'm determined to get it going again - hate being beaten!
No rom I make and flash from the identical phone or find on the internet will recover this phone. My recoveries and quite a few downloaded ROMs will boot into recovery mode but none of them recover the phone. It just stops at the 'ANDROID' boot screen. The phone cannot format the system partition in recovery CWM recovery mode.
I've made CWM backups from the good phone, then transferred the SD Card to the soft bricked phone and tried to recover using the 'backup and recovery' option. CWM passes through checking MD5 sums and erases/restores the boot image. It then gets stuck on 'Restoring System'. The system (android) partition is the one file that always doesn't work when I use Flashtools. Does it reject the system file because the one I'm trying to copy is from a rooted phone?
I want to try fixing it using the Update.zip method. What file/s would I zip up and rename to 'update.zip' to try and recover the phone using the menu option 'apply /sdcard/update.zip'?
