Have already reinstalled and reinstalled the driver and still i get the error message using the lastest version of sp flash tool.

When I go to device manager I see that my unit was detected as MTK USB Port and it disappear after a minute or so then ir reconnects itself again.

That is everytime I flash the rom that I created using MTK Droid Tools. Here is the copy of the backup I created using MTK tool.

Also when connecting the phone to the computer the sp flash tool only shows a red box then after that the pop either the 5054 or 4032 message. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Have you tried the different versions of SP Flash Tool? Here are links for both. If you haven't, try whichever version you don't have.
SPFT v3.1344.0 [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
SPFT v5.1352 [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
Also, don't forget to run flash tool as administrator.

2. What version of Windows are you running?
3. Do you use USBdeview [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] to uninstall your phone's instances in your computer before reinstalling drivers?
4. I'm not familiar with the red box you are referring to.

I have the same problem
I reinstalled the driver
I tried SPFT v3.1344.0
I tried SPFT v5.1352
I use windows 7
I use USBdeview

Note : The red box is the progress bar

Yup have tried different versions of the sp flash tool. Also will try using a different computer im using windows 8.1 and I ran the program with admin rights.

Will also try to follow the steps I found when trying to google a solution.

Don't forget to uninstall with usbdeview first, and be thorough here -- might be best to uninstall even usb flash drives, EHD...

OK, thanks. That didn't register immediately.
Hmm, for me, I got rid of random errors by finding the correct drivers. I'm sorry I don't have a better answer right now. Please try the suggestions in the link above, post #2.

pliss someone my advan s3 mtk6572 is dead boot and i tried to flash but always error 4032.
